Welcome to Quitman Commons, a small, progressive cohousing community located five minutes from downtown Denver and two blocks south of gorgeous Sloan's Lake. Residents live in two neighboring fourplexes, and coexist as respectful friends who enjoy the camaraderie of community.

With the expanding wave of the cohousing movement settling into our consciousness, more and more people are considering living in shared situations. The saying “live simply so that others may simply live” is motivating many to take a look at their contribution to societies' excesses. Creating intentional community eases the burden of every family having one of everything and encourages the cooperation of sharing.
