Welcome to Quitman Commons, a small, progressive, quasi-cohousing community located five minutes from downtown Denver, two blocks south of gorgeous Sloan's Lake, and a block and a half from the new West Corridor Light Rail. Residents live in two neighboring fourplexes, and coexist as respectful friends who enjoy the camaraderie of community.

With the expanding wave of the cohousing movement settling into our consciousness, more and more people are considering living in shared situations. The saying “live simply, so that others may simply live” is motivating many to take a look at their contribution to societies' excesses. Creating intentional community eases the burden of every family having one of everything and encourages the cooperation of sharing.
